Jumper: New Look
Skirt: Shoeby

I've had this jumper for a couple of years now, and actually it's fitting better now than it did 2 years ago! Really need to store my wardrobe as I found a shirt from yeeears ago, which obviously didn't fit anymore. I should restore my makeup/jewelry cupboard too, that place is a real mess! I bet I'll find lots of things I didn't even know I had them...Does that sound familiar to you?

PS. Ugh, I really need to call my hairdresser to cut my fringe/bangs, they just disappeared!

Ever heard of Fashionology.nl? You really should take a look. They sell amazing handmade jewelry, with real silver and special stones. Every piece of jewelry has it's own little story about it's meaning. The collection is really simple and smooth, but oh so elegant! It's not that cheap - but still affordible and it's silver, so the quality must be amazing! The dreamcatcher necklace is my absolute favorite, as I'm a big fan of dreamcatchers. They look beautiful with the feathers and all that, and the meaning of it is just so inspiring.
Have you ever ordered something at fashionology? Please share your experience!

Did my nails again. Leopard print, haven't had this print on my nails for yonks. If you guys wonder, I always do my nails myself. I'm a big fan of nailart and I have tons of nailpolishes and accessories. For this design I used Catrice  450 Sand Francisco, Catrice 460 In the Bronx, and Sally Hansen Black Out. For Inspiration I always check out Fuck yeah nailart, you should pop by if you like nailart!

The great beyond

Another portrait. I actually really like my makeup today, the bright pink lipstick is probably the cause. The colour is Rose naïf, by Lancome. Wearing my ocean green Pull&Bear top again and the most shocking part of this post...(prepare yourself!)...I'm actually wearing jeans! Well, it's more of a jegging...but I just call them jeans, as it's really the same thing but without a zipper and a button. I don't like wearing jeans, or pants at all. The main reason thereof is the fact that in most stores an M is too small, and an L just too big (really baggy/sloppy on the back, like your butt just disappeared haha). I'm caught up in between.
Not really unimportant; Salary's in! Got quite a lot as I've worked pretty much in December. And now my fingers are itching to do some shopping! Unfortunately, I have to wait untill I finished my exams (last two on Monday, and tomorrow a day off whoohoo!)

Go bananas!

COM

Today in art class we had to make an artwork with/about food. We had the opportunity to prepare and make sketches, weeeks ago, and today was the moment of truth. We had four hours (actually five, he gave us one extra as no one was able to make it within four) And yeah, this is the result! I actually don't know why I decided to paint bananas, but my idea was to show the 'evolution' of food.
Sorry for the crappy pic, but my phone has never heard of GOOD quality.

Gotta love Ombre

7
COM

I've been adoring ombre hair for a while now, ohh how I love that look! I think I should go for it. Searched all over the web for a ombre DIY for dark hair without using bleach. Found a good way (I think it is!)
As my hair is dark brown  -It's dyed, but it's also my natural hair colour- I don't want the 'ombre' part too light. I think I'll just go for a darker blond. If it's too dark I can always dye it again!

EDIT: I just found out that the way I thought it was without bleach, still has bleach in it. But I still think a highlighting kit is better than just pure bleach.

Ugh, Still studiyng. Feels like this book and the notes are endless...
So, I've been to the Willem de Kooning academy yesterday, the school where I'll be walking around after summer. I reaaally hope so. I've wanted to go to this art academy for a few years now, and I know exactly which study I'm going for - Lifestyle & Design
I talked to this girl who graduated two years ago, and she gave me some really good tips and tricks to impress the teachers during the admission procedure. Already so excited, it gives me an extra motivation boost to make myself pass my finals!

Apply some pressure

Studying. Like, diehard. Exams next week, and actually I don't feel much pressure, only for history. It's such a non-interesting subject. It's about Vietnam and wars and the USA and China and wars and uuuugh. And it's sooo much and hard, I don't get it at all *sigh*
Ok I just stop studying for today and go watching my favorite program ('Wie is de mol?' the dutch peeps must know this!) with some hot chocolate, if we've got some milk left...

Blouse: Pull&Bear
Skirt: Shoeby
Ring: Dorothy Perkins (see this post for details)
Necklace: ? (It's actually a headband, which was uncomfortable)

Today's outfit. Finally found a black pleated skirt! It took me a long time to find one, wether if it's a pleated skirt or just a basic circle skirt! Probably they're really hard to catch in winter...
I guess shopping time is over, at least for me. I'm pretty broke...the holidays hitted my credit score like a bullet. Next month I shouldn't buy a lot either, have to save money otherwise I can't go to Albufeira with the girls, that would be a big bummer!

Finallyyy my fisheye photos arrived! It took a few days more than it actually should, but yeah. Can't complain about the bad quality - the quality of lomographs just suck. But that's what makes it special!
When looking at the photos I discovered the film wasn't placed right, On lots of photos the 'bubble' is not centred, which means I miss the right part, and that part is on the left side of the next photo.

Viva Hollandia!

Once in a while I check the House of Holland website for new catwalk shows and the shop. Looove the suspender tights. Really sexy and playful, but try not to make it all slutty. The left one is the Super Suspender, just the basic one and only £12. The right one is the Pearl Suspender, which costs a bit more, it's £25.
And then there is the bone blouse, love it right away! I like the fact that the blouse is dark blue instead of black, the blue makes it less 'gothic'. The blouse costs £195, eeek! That's way above my budget. But yeah I don't have a lot of money anymore since I plundered pretty much the whole Monki sale collection.

KILL KILL KILL MY BOYFRIEND

COM

the 'Kill my boyfriend' video by Natalia Kills came out, today!
As a great fan of her music and style, I had to share this with you guys. You won't expect it when you read the title, but the song is happy and catchy, and so is the video. And of course it is stylish, as miss Kills herself. With the most amazing outfits and makeup (and her nails!) she rocks it for 4:03 minutes (and also after the video haha)

Dress: Pull&Bear
Leather bag: Christmas gift
Bracelet: Primark
Ring: New Yorker
Earrings: from my mom's old jewelry box

Bought the dress on sale at Pull&Bear, wich just opened in Rotterdam. It's world's biggest P&B store, so I was expecting a store with the size of Birmingham's Primark (the biggest primark I've ever seen haha), but my expectations were hard to find in real. It's not huge, but also not super small...I say mid size. More important is, the clothing. Really nice, much colours, and a lot of variation, I like!

The bag is a christmas present, from my dad. The colour is a bit orange, and real leather. My mom also got a bag like this. Love it how my dad is really creative and original with presents, he never asks us for our wishes. He got style!

As the 30 day beauty challenge is quite trending lately, I'm in a doubt to also take part. I think it'll be a boost for my blog, it keeps me busy and it keeps you bothered. I already found the list but I might change some 'challenges'.

"happy" new year!

2
COM
I wish everyone a wonderful 2012! Including myself...I started the first day of the new year with sickness. It wasn't the alcohol, I drank 3 glasses of wine, so that's not too much. But dinner was the devil! I had to work 'till 5, then immediately change clothes, do makeup and hair etc., went to my boyfriend's house and then took the last underground (20:00, way too early) to a friend's house. All she had was some chinese snacks and the traditional dutch NYE snack "oliebollen" (just google it!) Both are really fat, and my stomach isn't strong enough for a lot of fat food.
As we went to the city to go out, we had a great time there, untill I didn't feel well and had to throw up later, several times. When we finally got home in the early morning (06:30) to catch some sleep, I still had to throw up, the whole morning...luckily for me I've got a really caring boyfriend.
So yeah I didn't eat much yesterday...3 ricecrackers, and drank a glass of water and 2 cups of tea. I do feel better today, but not great. Ahh well, I guess tomorrow it's over and I can eat normal again.

I hope you didn't step into 2012 like I did...

Ps. I did want to post my NYE outfit, but I was in a rush so I didn't have time to make some shots. And like you already read, I couldn't picutre it for you yesterday, or today. But I'll post it soon for you all!
